FIFA U-17 World Cup - History

The FIFA U-17 World Cup kicked-off in 1985 with the first edition being hosted in China. It began as a Competition for Players under age of 16 with age limit raised to 17 from 1991 onwards. The last edition which was hosted by United Arab Emirates. The Tournament is played among 24 Teams divided into six groups. Each Group will have four Teams who will play against each other and the top-two from each Group plus the four best third-placed Teams will advance to the Knock-out stage.....Complete details here
