The Higher Secondary Education (+2 stage) of Education is imparted by Degree Colleges, Junior Colleges and by the Higher Secondary Schools in the state of Assam. The Colleges follow the holiday list and academic time schedule as per specified by their respective Universities. The High Schools upgraded to Higher Secondary Schools follow the schedule as prescribed by SEBA. This creates confusion among the teachers as well as the students of Higher Secondary stage regarding the academic time schedule

Academic Session Starts from 17th April 2014

Admission into H.S. First Year Class should be

 completed on or before 1st June 2014

Total Teaching days for H.S. First Year 198

Total Teaching days for HS Final Year  205

Submission of forms for H.S. Final Exam. 2015

 Second week of November 2014

H.S. Final Year Examination 2015 commence

 from 2nd week of February.

H.S. First Year Examination shall be completed

 within March 2015 by the Institutions.
